Payment Information
You can shop in our online store at your convenience through this website using our secure service and shopping cart system.
We accept payments by PayPal only for shopping cart sales, at this time. Our shopping cart does not support International orders so contact us by email first. We encourage you to use our website for product and pricing information and then contact us by email or by phone and we can then make payment and shipping information. International customers should consult with their banks and local customs brokers for information on import duties, VAT and exchange rates. We have no way to know what these additional international costs may be and all costs will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
Custom Built Instruments
We require a minimum of a 50% deposit on any Custom/Special Order instrument in the form of Personal Check, Cashier’s Check or Wire Transfer (and TransferWise for International Customers). All custom/special order instrument builds are subject to a final sale with a no return, exchange, trade or refund options. Please spend the time with us before ordering to make sure that you understand your build and that you get the instrument you are expecting.
Custom orders offer a unique opportunity that allows you to have that “one-of-a-kind” instrument. This means that accessories, hardware and materials are often selected that we do not normally stock and we must procure these materials to make your dream bass. We also cut materials for your project which renders raw materials unusable for any other instrument. Once a deposit is sent, the sale and build specifications are final.
If a deposit has been sent and a cancellation is requested, the customer forfeits all deposit money and the build may not be completed. If the full price is not issued by the customer, Elrick Bass Guitars retains 100% of the deposit and/or payments and the instrument ownership reverts to 100% ownership of Elrick Bass Guitars.
We will provide an invoice for customs that ships with the product and this invoice will match the value of the shipped product and the insurance of the shipped product. We are not able to make any adjustments of these values. We only send international shipments via FED EX air International Economy. You should expect a freight charge of at least $125 on a bass to anywhere outside North America. We can provide these costs for you before the product ships.
In Stock Instruments
All instruments, strings, cases and accessories are sold as Final Sale / No Returns, No Refunds. Being a small, boutique shop, we are not able to offer any type of refund or returns on ANY item. This covers all Erick, Modern VIntage and third-party brands. If you feel that you may desie a return scenario, please contact one of our retail dealers to find out their terms.
According to law, if a product is purchased and returned to a retailer, this item must be clearly marked for all to see, then sold as a returned item. A standard return from other online sites typically levy a 25% restocking fee and shipping to the customer (even if it says ‘FREE”shipping) and shipping back to the retailer/site. This is a heavy price, so check with your retailer of choice, if you choose this route.
