- Fingerboard: Genuine Indian rosewood, one-piece slab fingerboard for balance of warmth and clarity
- Binding: White neck binding and pearl dot inlays (combination only found on vintage 1966 models)
- Headstock: Designed to eliminate dead spots, matching painted head cap (except Sunburst)
- Tuners: Hipshot Ultralite “lollipop” tuners w/ tapered post to pull strings toward headstock for maximum string sustain
- Bridge: Low-mass vintage-style ‘bent-plate’ bridge with authentic steel screw-type saddles for maximum sustain, punch and clarity
- Truss Rod: Dual action, two-way truss rod to allow decrease OR Increase of neck profile for perfect setup and adjustment
- Truss Rod Access: Easy access from the top of the bass – no more ‘removing neck’ to make adjustments
- Neck Profile: Thin vintage ‘C’ shape w/ 1.5″ nominal neck width at nut, modern 9.5” fretboard radius
